Future Career Plans

I think instead of being a Marine Biologist, I want to become an Aquatic Veterinarian. I love taking care and helping animals, and I also love ocean animals. I think this job will fit my personality and skills better as well. 😊 So excited for my future 😆

Reason for the Season

Is Christmas still about a birth, 
Angels, shepherds, peace on earth?

Or is it now about a wreath, 
a tree with lights and what’s beneath?

Is Christmas still a manger stall 
or is it now a crowded mall?

Parents scurry and children pause 
to pin their hopes on Santa Claus.

While we complain of corporate greed 
there is a thought that we should heed.

The fault is not what’s on the shelves. 
The problem is within ourselves.

If Jesus Christ lives in our heart
then Christmas comes with each day’s start.

And every day, not once a year
we get to share our Christmas cheer.

My birthday!

I turned 19 on November 25, 2015! I am so old, I need to go buy depends or something.  My family ended up going to a mexican restaurant for my birthday and my mom and aunt got Corona Lime Margaritas; oh my goodness it was HEAVEN! They both could not finish it so I drank both of them. They both were still 90% full! My vision turned blurry very quick!

So, I was going to do my Argumentative Paper on Why Video Games are not a Sport; but I have been playing Fallout 4 for 2 weeks straight, and it changed my whole perspective.  I did research as well and I now understand why video games should be a sport! You will have to wait to read my paper though!

My Birthday

My birthday is November 25 and this is the first year that I am not really excited about it. I have no plans, my best friends live in different states, I have no school, and I have to work. I told my parents that I do not want to go out to eat because I know my parents are struggling with money, so I told them to save it. I will not lie, it is sort of a bummer that I will not be doing ANYTHING at all. I guess I finally understand that not every birthday will be fun when you are an adult.

Math Class = Boredom

Have you ever been so bored in a class, that you just doodle on paper instead of listen? That is how I feel in my math class. We HAVE to show up, but I already know the information so I just sit and doodle the entire class. The only problem is, this class is two hours long! That is two hours of complete boredom!  Instead of doodling, I am blogging. I might as well get some classes assignments done while I am being tortured in math.

Last Night

I was up until 1 in the morning because my cousin Mitch Aguiar had a MMA Title fight in Norfolk, VA. I had to wake up at 5 in the morning to work a double shift at the vet today. Hopefully I do not fall asleep at work.

No more suffering, no more fear
Waiting for the day the Son is here

Waiting for my wallet to be filled
no more cringing when I am billed
Waiting for my family to stop being worried
I feel like our faith has been buried
What happened to our smiles and laughter
Waiting for the day we get over this disaster
