Tres con Leche

I learned how to make Tres con Leche yesterday! It is so delicious and my favorite. Tres con Leche is a cake that has three types of milk in it and it makes the cake very moist and soft. It is very easy to make.

Basketball

I signed up to play on the Thomas Nelson Community College Basketball Team and I am extremely nervous. I have not played since freshman year of high school. When I played in high school I had gotten injured three times in one season. I broke my finger, ankle, and I popped my knee out of place. Ever since that season I have been terrified to play the sport again. I even sold my basketball shoes and put away the jersey for good. I miss the sport like crazy; I remember how happy I was (before I got injured of course.) As the season is arriving both good and bad nerves are rising up. My family is split on the feelings of me playing again. It is very scary to think about me playing again because I was always in the emergency room. I do not know what to do and I try to turn to my family about it but they do not know either.

Groot

This is my dog Groot! Groot is a purebred German Shepherd and he is nine months old. He enjoys long walks on the beach, cuddling, chasing bugs, eating rain drops, and chasing his tail. Groot weighs ninety pounds, but that does not stop him from thinking he is a lap dog. Groot trots when he walks, has his head up high, and has his tail all the way up in the air, wagging like crazy. He is a very happy and loving dog. This dog is my life; along with my cats of course. My favorite part about Groot is his face. He is so beautiful and his faces will show you how much he cares. He has facial expressions! I have a couple more pictures to show of my puppy and my best friend; Groot.

Taz

This is my cat Taz. I have a thousand pictures of this handsome guy, but this picture seemed perfect to use. Taz is a little over a year old and he likes to sit like a human. This picture was taken when I woke him up from a nap and obviously he did not appreciate that much. You can find Taz sleeping with me every single night, and if he wakes up before I do, then I get woken up with him laying on my chest and kissing my face. Since Taz is a little over a year old, he still likes to nibble on my nose. You are probably thinking, "Oh how cute", well wrong; it is very painful and I would not recommend waking up to it. Taz has very sharp teeth, and if you pull away, he will put both paws on your face and make you stay still so he can nipple at your flesh. He is my little boy though, I have trained him to jump up on to me from the ground. He lets me carry him like a baby!

Facebook

I have came across the thought of deleting my Facebook. All I see now is angry posts about failing relationships, parent issues, government issues, and animals; which animals are okay with me. I remember when I would go on Facebook and see happy posts, and pictures of people smiling with their family, boyfriend, girlfriend, or friends. People have gotten a lot more angrier these days. With all of the drama with our government and violence that has happened. Social media has turned dark, news pages write nothing but dark stories and twist things around just so they get the social impact that they want. People get on Facebook and tell people about their entire lives and opinions. I see nothing but arguments on my Facebook now. People who are supposed to be friends are arguing over their own opinions. I almost deleted my account a couple of weeks ago, but then I thought about all of my friends across the world that I have on Facebook. I like to see pictures of my friends and see what they are up too on Facebook. What I recently have been doing was deleting every person who has been negative on my Facebook feed. I want a positive Facebook page, I want to log on and see happiness and not anger. I have deleted over a hundred people off my Facebook so far. I mainly have friends who talk about church and how much they love life. I also have my grandparents as my friends because they have not managed to learn how to work their cell phones, but for some odd reason can work their Facebook accounts.

My Hair

I dyed my hair back to my orginal brown today. I then added some caramel low lights to make it more Fall like. It turned out amazing! I have not had my natural hair color since I was eight-years-old! It is amazing how long I had blonde hair!

My Backyard

I love sitting on my back deck listening to all the sounds at night. I have a mini lake in my backyard and I hear the frogs and crickets. It is like a little symphony. Every once in awhile I can hear fish jump out of water. It is very peaceful, and I like to think alot when I am out here. I can see the houses lights across the lake reflecting off the water. I take my dog out here so he can play and chase bugs. So while I listen to the frogs and crickets, I will hear my dog chasing his tail and trotting in the grass. It truly is perfect out here. The stars are amazing, they are so bright.

Bush Gardens

I took a trip to Bush Gardens yesterday and it was amazing! I fell in love with it super quick. My dad, oldest brother and I are the huge roller coaster fans in my family. Well, my dad and brother a big fans of giant drops that are about 200 feet; but I will do a drop if it is less than 200 feet. I enjoyed all of the different places to eat. My favorite food place was Das Festhaus! I had the German Platter for lunch and saw the show! I hope I get a season pass. That is where I would be most of my weekends!

My Grandparents Visiting

My grandparents are visiting from Illinois and my grandpa is grumpy all the time. He does not like my dog either, which is a huge problem for me! All my dog has done was try to lick him and my grandpa hates my dog. My grandpa keeps making comments about putting the dog in a giant cage outside. My parents keep telling me "hold your tongue" because I make smart remarks after he says mean stuff about my dog.
